Calling All Arizona Moms!

Anna’s Linens and Tamara Monosoff, Founder & CEO of Mom Inventors, Inc., creator of the Mom Invented® brand and product line, and the Author of The Mom Inventors Handbook and Secrets of Millionaire Moms has launched a new product search for Arizona moms.

For the first time, Anna’s Linens has teamed up with Founder and Creator of Mom Invented Inc., Tamara Monosoff, to set out in search of the next great product invented by Mom. Together, we are launching a contest calling all Arizona moms to submit their most creative product ideas with a chance for the opportunity for their product to be sold at Anna’s Linens stores.

What does it mean to join the Mom Invented® family
of products?

Here’s how it works:

The Product Search kick-off event will happen live at Anna’s Linens Peoria Crossing store location, on Saturday, October 17th from 10:00am-12:00pm.

All submissions must be received by midnight, Pacific Standard Time, November 17, 2009 and the winners of the new Mom Invented product search will be notified by December 17th, 2009.

The first prize winner will receive $750 in cash and a $250 gift card at Anna’s Linens. Second prize will receive $250 in cash and $150 gift card. Both winners will receive a licensing contract with Mom Inventors, Inc. and, the products will be launched in Anna’s Linens next fall.

How do you know if you have a great idea?

Ask yourself these five questions:
1) Does it solve a common, every day problem?
2) Is the market large enough? In other words, will enough people want to buy it?
3) Does it already exist? Do some online research to see and if so, is there room for another one or something similar with added benefits and features?
4) How difficult/expensive will it be to produce?
5) How will it be sold? The hardest thing to do is to get a product into retail stores. That’s why we are so excited that Anna’s Linens has agreed to launch the two winning Mom Invented® products from this Arizona product search.

If you see this post early enough, click here print out the entry forms, complete them, plan your 3 minute pitch, and head down to the Anna’s Linens store at Peoria Crossing Saturday, October 17th from 10:00am to 12:00pm noon to pitch your idea to Tamara in person!

If you can’t make it to the event there are two ways you can submit your new product idea but don’t delay because you only have a few weeks!

First, visit www.mominvented.com and follow the link to the Arizona Mom Inventor Product Search 2010 and follow the submission instructions, or print out the submission documents from the website and mail your completed submission to the appropriate address as instructed on the www.mominvented.com website.
