I bought the gold ones. These sconces will not disappoint you. Whether you have wood, brass, leather or cloth in your room, these will fit in beautifully. They look like heavy wood, but are resin and light enough to hang on your wall. The opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter, so you can either hang a curtain rod or put a scarf through the opening. Color is very slightly darker in person, which is beautiful and gives it an aged look. I had two contrasting sheer scarves made and twisted them and put them through the opening and draped it. Beautiful!
