After reading the reviews here, I was a little hesitant to get this product, but I did what was suggested and went to Home Depot and bought the board in the dimensions provided. I used 5 sticks of glue to adhere the Shoes Under to the board and it worked like a charm. It slides so easily under my bed now and using that much glue means that it will not come loose from the board so it is stable and secure. I don't know how long it will last but it seems safe and I have had no problems so far. It's a bit of work and my hand did become sore from squeezing the trigger, but it works better than anything else I tried for storing my shoes. I'm ordering 4 more to go under my Cal King bed and heading back to Home Depot. Thanks, Christal!

Not a good buy!

It could have been a good product if it was sturdy. It was damage right after I placed the shoes on it. You can use it for summer sandals since they are lighter. I was so disappointed with this product.

I tried it with the piece of paneling as suggested and it does work. It takes quite a bit of glue (4-5 large sticks and a lot of squeezing) but it works. The set up of the shoes under works with the addition of the piece of paneling to give it stability. It slides easily under the bed (though the bed frame is low and it is a tight fit). It does not catch (which I was worried about) and the cost was minimal -- $3 per piece. All in all, with a little extra labor, I got a workable piece of equipment that I can use to organize my many shoes in the only space available.

Workable with a little adjustment

These are a joke if you take them alone, but with a little work, they can be made to work. Go to Home Depot (or other home improvement store) and get a piece of pre-cut paneling cut to 22"x28" (the provided measurements are inaccurate). Hot glue it to the bottom of the Shoes Under. Use plenty of glue. This will give the unit stability when taking it in and out of the under the bed area. It works well. I don't know how long it lasts but if you get paneling with one smooth (polished) side, it slides well and does not catch. It's a little work but it does work.

Incredibly...Stupid

I'm amazed how they can get away with making and selling such a cheap product. It looks like it can be sold at the dollar store. Like the first reviewer said, there's nothing solid to give the product any structure. You can actually find a better underbed storage container for cheaper (like $7)at Anna's. Don't get this. The only thing good about it is how well it's marketed.

Ad makes it look like the sides are solid, but they are not, therefore making it hard to push and pull out from under bed, the sides fall in because there is nothing holding them up, very difficult to handle, like trying to play pool with a wet rope...I bought 2, used only one, or tried to use it..and am ready to throw both in the trash...waste of money
