It happened to me too!!!!
On March 18, 2010:
The leaves on this rod broke off as we were taking out of the packaging. I read another review about this happening and promised that I would be super careful, but it happened anyway. Very fragile, but nothing my hot glue gun couldn't fix!!! It's still pretty though!!!

On February 10, 2010:
I ordered curtain panels with the valances to match and of course I needed the curtain rods. I am very happy with the panels and valances but to my disappointment the rods had these very pretty leafs at the end of the rods and it kinda of looked like branches from trees. I had these rods all in place on the walls, all brackets screwed in the walls and as I was putting the panels on the rods the leaves all snapped off. Too late to send back as I don't have this time. I had to snap off the rest of the leaves from ALL rods in order for them to match.. This was all eight rods.
