These drapes may be the solution to your search for decent room darkening drapes. Like others here, I'd looked at LOTS of drapes and tried a few without success. You'll find these solidly constructed, excellent at blocking outside light and attractive ... what more could one ask?!

We just purchased these curtains for our bedroom and absolutely love them. My husband couldn't believe what a difference they made. Our TV is on the opposite wall of our window and we had an awful glare, these were the perfect choice. You can't tell whether it is day or night outside. Will definitely purchase more.
BLACKOUT DRAPES

I will be buying more of these drapes as they are certainly worth the money. They actually darken the room. I just bought two of them as I live in a Condo complex and the outside street lights shined in the window looking like daytime. Now I am can sleep and don't worry about light anymore. Thanks,

We are very happy with these draperies. My husband likes it because it keeps a draft out from sliding glass door, and we also like it when we close the draperies to watch our favorite movies. I will be planning on buying more for other rooms!

My new house has beautiful large open windows but I need darkness when I sleep. I searched everywhere for the lined drapes that my mother used and nearly bought them until someone in one of your Baltimore stores told me about the blackout drapes. I have very wide windows but she found them for 2 of my windows and I AM DELIGHTED! The drapes DO keep out the light and filters outside noises. I am going back for more.
Perfect for day sleepers

I love these! When I began working nights I needed to block out light coming into my bedroom and these have knocked out any competition. Plus, living in Arizona they help cool the room during the 10months of summer!

No matter what I bought, we always had a glare on our television in the den due to the evening sun. Not anymore. These drapes hang well and block out almost all light. My son came into the kitchen and couldn't believe it was still light outside. He couldn't see daylight in the den. My husband loves them and wants more for our bedroom.
