On January 30, 2008:
Everything was exactly what I was looking for but as soon as some clothes were hung up, the cross rods holding the complete closet broke. The brackets were made out of plastic and the areas holding the rods warped out of place cracking and breaking. With this item holding clothing, it should have been made out of metal. Be care and make sure to place the closet on a hard surface (not on carpeting) so there is no shifting. You get what you pay for.

I purchased 8 of these closets from Anna's Linens when the PX ran out of them. Take for granted I broke one of them when I was putting it together when I was pushing in the rod at a slight angle (my fault) instead of straight in. Anyway, since most Europeans don't believe in built-in closets, I have 13 of these in a bedroom for my husband and me. These closets have everything from suits, pants, and shirts to winter coats, sweatpants, and sweatshirts. And none of the closets have bowed or broke. They hold a lot of clothes and also protect them with the zippered closure. I also store shoes in the bottom of the closets that go with the clothes. It works perfect. I use the broken one in the wash room to dry clothes in. It works like a charm. I don't need to worry that it leans forward because the one rod opening is broken. I would rate these closets a 10 if I could.
